Jake is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with his Bachelors Science Nursing and Master Science Advanced Practice degrees for Oklahoma University College of Nursing. He has been in the nursing field for 30 years and has been a CPNP with Dr. Kropp for almost 20 years. He completed a pediatric fellowship with Dr. Kropp, and is trained to see all aspects of pediatric urology. He specializes in video urodynamics, voiding dysfunction, the management of neurogenic bladder and bowel, and surgical reconstruction management.
He places tremendous emphasis on patient education, promoting health, and preventing pediatric urological diseases. He is humbled and privileged to get to help children and families every day.
He enjoys presenting at national conferences and medical facilities as a guest speaker/educator. He also enjoys precepting nursing and medical students as well as writing and publishing. Several of his publications and educational presentations have been referenced and utilized on national websites. He has been actively involved in several pediatric urology research studies and medication trials at all of his employment institutions.
