At OKC Kids Urology, while Jason works with all patients and families who have psychosocial struggles, he has a strong focus on the Bladder Exstrophy/Cloacal Exstrophy kids and families. Through therapy, Jason will help improve the family dynamic to create healthier relationships despite the stressors of having a medically complex child. Jason has a unique perspective and connection to the families of BE/CE kids because he has a son with Bladder Exstrophy as well.

Jason received his B.A. in Psychology from Biola University and his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University in California where he spent the last 16 years as a professor for Hope International University Marriage and Family Therapy Program. During that time, he also acted as the Director of Clinical Training with a private practice on the side. Jason has focused much of his time in practice using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist clients who have trauma as well as working with individuals, couples, families and children with a broad range of issues and diagnoses.
